Nynäshamn - Byxelkrok crossing

We crossed through the Gotland Sea from Nynäshamn to Byxelkrok in the northern part of Öland island. We left from Nynäshamn harbour at 5 PM on Thursday and first we had quite strong headwind but later the wind turned to west and it was about 6 m/s, as it had been forecasted, so we were able to sail smoothly. During the night the winds fainted so we were even able to sleep a bit and we saw a beautiful sunset. We arrived in Byxelkrok on Friday afternoon. The whole crossing was 101 nm long and took 22 hours to perform. Then we decided to spend the sunny afternoon by cleaning the saloon and Antti did also some repair work with the teak deck.
